Let's learn some Ringette skills. The 20 – week Skills Development program is designed for girls who have learned to skate and are now ready to learn the skills required to play the game along with the rules. No previous Ringette experience is required. Our volunteer coaches and senior level players will provide skating and skill instruction to further development the skills required to play the sport. Emphasis is on having fun.Who: Girls 5 to 9 years of age. Should be able to skate unsupported and stand up after falling down without assistance.
Equipment: CSA approved hockey helmet & Ringette facemask, hockey skates, BNQ approved neck protector, elbow pads, shin pads, shoulder pads, hockey gloves, hip/tailbone/genital protection, Ringette pants or hockey pants and socks, Ringette stick. First time participants can take advantage of our Equipment Lending Program.
When: Sundays 2:45 – 3:45 p.m.
Sessions: October 20, 2012 - March 23, 2013
Where: Tom Graham Arena (1300 Elgin Mills Rd., East at Leslie St.)
