Let's learn skills. The 20 – session Skills Development program is designed for girls who have learned to skate and are now ready to learn the skills required to play the game along with the rules. No previous Ringette experience is required. Our volunteer coaches and senior level players will provide skating and skill instruction to further development the skills required to play the sport. Emphasis is on having fun.

Who: Girls 5 to 9 years of age. Should be able to skate unsupported and stand up after falling down without assistance.

Equipment: CSA approved hockey helmet & Ringette facemask, hockey skates, BNQ approved neck protector, elbow pads, shin pads, shoulder pads, hockey gloves, hip/tailbone/genital protection, Ringette pants or hockey pants and socks, Ringette stick.  First time participants can take advantage of our Equipment Lending Program.

When:
  • October - December, Sundays, 2:45 – 3:45 pm
  • January - March, Sundays, 3:45 – 4:45 pm
  • no sessions Dec 23, Dec 30, Feb 3, Mar 10
Sessions: October 14, 2018 -  March 24, 2019
  • 1st session - Sun Oct 14, 2018
  • 1st session 2nd half - Sun Jan 6, 2019
  • Last session - Sun Mar 24, 2019
Where: Tom Graham Arena (1300 Elgin Mills Rd., East at Leslie St.)

Cost: $225.
