The U12P-Ianni team won a pair of weekend games when they outscored the Ajax Shooting Stars 5-4 at home on Saturday before heading out on the road for a 4-2 win over Whitby on Sunday.  Haleigh Beam wielded the hot stick netting 3 goals on Saturday and another on Sunday. Sydney Stabler had a pair of goals against Ajax and found the back of the net against Whitby as well.  Kaylin Joy and Camilla Kernohan rounded out the scoring against Ajax and Whitby respectively.

The U14AA-Roman team also had a pair of home and away games, dropping a 5-1 decision to the first place London Lynx before holding third place Guelph to a 4-4 tie on the road.  Emily Gomes-Szoke scored twice in the Guelph contest with singles coming off the sticks of Kate Vandeloo and MacKenzie Snelgrove.  The U16A-McKnight team hosted a pair of weekend games dropping a close decision to Markham 3-2 on Saturday before taking down Ajax 4-2 on Sunday.

The U16AA-Sarjeant team swatted away any attack the Mitchell Stingers could muster while raiding the opponents net en route to a 6-0 shut out win.  The U19A-File team took to the road for a pair of weekend games besting the Burlington Blast 5-2 in Saturday’s affair before skating away with a 3-1 victory over the Newmarket Rays on Sunday.

The U19AA-Sandercock team crammed three games into their weekend schedule dropping a close 7-6 decision at home to Pickering in a game where they held the lead for most of the game before Pickering took the lead with just over a minute remaining.  Mackenzie Craig had the hat trick with Brienne Paterson netting a pair and Madison Sandercock tallying the other marker.  The team hosted Cambridge in a tight battle ending in a 4-4 tie where Paterson netted another pair of goals with singles coming from Brooklyn Kassermelli and Sandercock. The team then hit the road for St. Clements where they played their third game in 23 hours, again battling to a 4-4 tie on goals by Alessia Roman, Sandercock, Craig, and Paterson.

In Regional play, the U10-Harling team hosted the Markham Bears in a game that went back and forth before the Lightning eventually pulled away in the second half while at the same time shutting down the Bears en route to a 10-5 victory.  Taryn Joy led the attack for the Lightning netting six goals; Mary Rose Batthish adding a pair with Alexia Himelfarb and Sydney Nobes rounding out the scoring.  Both the U10-Laughlin and U12-Chamandy teams travelled to Oshawa for games against the Storm.  The Laughlin team could not find the back of the net in their tilt dropping a 5-0 shutout decision, whereas the U12-Chamandy team was able to bulge the twine nine times en route to a 9-6 victory.  The U16B-Thompson team travelled to Sunderland where they came away with a 6-5 win.
The Open B-Todd team went on the road for a pair of games against the Ajax Shooting Stars last week where they netted six goals in each affair.  Meaghan Todd and Sasha Kulesh each scored twice with Cassie Moscoe and Tara Mattucci adding singles as they downed the Stars 6-2 in a rare Monday night affair.  Vanessa Peacock held the hot hand netting four goals in a 6-3 victory in their second match of the week.
