Raeman and Voss selected to Junior National Team
Team Canada held its first ever joint selection camp for our junior and senior national teams in Etobicoke May 14 – 18 and recently announced the roster for its junior national team that will compete at the 2016 world ringette championship taking place in Helsinki, Finland from December 28th, 2015 to January 4th, 2016.
At the end of the camp, junior national team head coach, Lorrie Horne stated
“We were extremely impressed with the skill level of the athletes on the ice this past weekend. Not only are they the finest group of U21 athletes in the country, they are exceptional young women. We are very proud and confident about our performance at the world ringette championship.”


Congratulations go out to the NRL Lightning’s Shae-Lynn Reaman and Erica Voss who were both named to the junior national team that will continue to train for competition at the 2016 world championships.
Beth Hurren (defence) and Ashley Miller (goaltending) are vying for a spot on the senior national team roster which will be announced in October.
