Lightning Teams Earn 6 Silver Medals in London and Nepean!
Submitted By Doug Lee on Tuesday, November 13, 2018
Richmond Hill teams traveled to the London (Nov 9-11) and Nepean (Nov 16-18) Ringette tournaments came home with 6 silver medals.

In London, the U10, U12P, U14AA, U16A, and U19A Collins teams all advanced to the finals of their respective division after successful round robin play on Friday and Saturday.

Unfortunately, all teams came up short in their finals with two teams (U10 and U19A Collins) losing in overtime.

The U14A and U19B teams advanced to Sunday but each came up shortly in closed contested semi-final games.

In Nepean, the U19A West team finished 2nd in their division and advanced to the final with a 7-2 win over Gloucester Cumberland in the semi-final.  They eventually fell to the first place Nepean team 3-2 in the final.

Congratulations to all Lightning teams on their early-season tournament success!
