    As volunteer registering with the RHRA, I understand that I am representing our team, our Association and our community. I will therefore conduct myself at all times in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner and will never verbally abuse any executive members, coaches, players, parents, opponents, or league official either in person, print or through electronic transmissions, including, but not limited to the use of the internet or any other form of social networking.  I will follow all guidelines and established policies and principles of the RHRA, CORL, SRRL, ORA, and Ringette Canada.

Media Consent
I consent to the release of names and photographs of myself and/or the minor child or children that are registered, for use in the RHRA’s print, on-line (including website and social media) and video-based marketing materials, as well as other RHRA publications. Names and photos may also be shared with public media to announce team activity and success within the community (i.e. team photos)

This may include newsletters, publications, announcements, invitations and other Association news or information.   1. Indemnity, Authorization, and Terms:

    In consideration of the Town of Richmond Hill and the Richmond Hill Ringette Association permitting my/our child to participate in Ringette, we hereby promise to indemnify and save harmless the Town of Richmond Hill, its council and all employees and servants and the Richmond Hill Ringette Association and its members from and against all claims, demands, actions and proceedings by whomsoever made or brought in respect of any costs, expenses, loss, damage, or injury, including death arising by reason of or in connection with my/our child’s participation in the said activities, and hereby release and forever discharge the Town of Richmond Hill, its council and all employees and servants and the Richmond Hill Ringette Association and its members from and against all claims or demands whatsoever which we, our child or his/her heirs, executors, administrators or assigns can share or may have reason of my/our participation in such activities, or by reason of the provision of medical care to me/him/her.

    In the event of my absence from the arena, I hereby give permission for my child to receive emergency medical treatment deemed necessary by the medical facility attended during the Ringette season. I understand that any cost incurred will be my responsibility.

    I also acknowledge that if full payment is not received by September 15th of the playing season, then the player named above will not be permitted on the ice for any RHRA program or team event (game/practice).

    Also, consistent with policies in effect in many municipalities where Richmond Hill Ringette Association teams play, including the Town of Richmond Hill, the use of all photographic devices including but not limited to cameras, video cameras, camera cell phones and digital devices in all change rooms and washrooms is prohibited.  Anyone found to have violated this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, including but not limited to suspension from games and practices.
